Our mission is to attract, educate, organize, and mobilize our fellow citizens to secure public policy consistent with our three core values of Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government and Free Markets. This group is free and open for every one.   We get a lot people looking to share ideas across the country or just like to belong to another tea party group.  Membership is open to everyone, but we do as people to be respectful to each other.

• Independent
• Committed to the United States Constitution
• Committed to Our Core Principals of Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government and Free Markets.

The Tea Party is NOT:

• The Republican Party or the Democratic Party (or a proxy thereof)
• Religiously Intolerant
• A Social Issues or Religious Movement (FLTPP is not organized for the purposes of opposing or advancing issues or causes such as abortion, gay rights, religion or other non-economic causes)

Due to the popularity of the "Tea Party" name, press and grassroots groups tend to use tea party in their names and logos and to advance issues not in accordance with our Core Values. Please be advised the Florida Tea Party Council is in no way associated with other groups using the tea party name, specifically Tea Party Party Patriots, INC., TheTeaParty.net, ResistNet, Freedomworks, TeaPartyNation.com, etc.
